Third Report Concerning Impact of the Heavy Rainfall in July, 2018

We extend our deepest sympathies to all those who have been affected by the recent heavy rainfall. 

Search operations and recovery efforts are still currently on-going at many districts in Hiroshima Prefecture where our plants are located.

Our Hiroshima Operations have recommenced operations since July 11. Water has started to be supplied to the neighborhoods of our plants, allowing us to resolve the issue of securing our supply of water. While some employees still require significant time to get to work due to the road situation in certain areas, our employees are generally able to get to work, and we are steadily making progress toward normal production.

However, due to damages suffered by some of our suppliers, there is a delay in the supply of parts. We will continue to monitor the situation and work on measures, and we will provide further reports when we have information that needs to be made known.
