On 2^nd July, 2010 the 3 year period of Administrative Sanction imposed on Mitutoyo Corporation by the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry for violation of Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act has come to an end.

During this period Mitutoyo has completely revised its internal Export Control procedures and systems to ensure that an occurrence of this event can never be allowed to be repeated in the future. Also Mitutoyo has undertaken Mitutoyo reform program including compliance systems and Mitutoyo Group Ethical Conduct Codes based on Mitutoyo Group Management Principles, "Making a Contribution to Society with Precision" as we aim to regain the public's trust as soon as possible.
