Mitutoyo Corporation received an ISO 14001 certification in December of last year for operations at its Nakatsugawa Plant (Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture), a factory dedicated to the production of dial gauges.
The Nakatsugawa Plant became Mitutoyo's fourth ISO 14001-certified plant, following the Head Office/Kawasaki Operations (current Kawasaki R&D Center), Utsunomiya Operations and Hiroshima Operations, all of which received their certifications in 1999, making Mitutoyo's and its Japanese affiliate companies' key business facilities and plants fully compliant with the international standards of environmental management.
Mitutoyo is continuing its dedicated company-wide effort on behalf of global environmental preservation, which we recognize as a top-priority issue in our business activities.
