The Corporate Planning Committee and the Production Control Department at the Mitutoyo Headquarters are combined and renamed as the Corporate Planning and Control Department. This new department consists of two groups, the Corporate Planning Group and the General Administration Control Group. The Corporate Planning Group is to fulfill its function as an overall business planner from a more global point of view, fortifying the cooperation with the Executive Management. The function of the General Administration Control Group includes analyzing and controlling the status of businesses from the aspect of domestic and overseas product distributions, enhancing administrative planning, such as reformation planning, controlling inventories making full use of the global information system, enhancing product information management, and so on.
