Management That Takes Care of Its Employees
Creating a “lively” atmosphere that increases employee happiness
Mitutoyo believes that a company's goal attainment, growth, and profits are linked to the happiness of its employees. To this end, we are promoting various measures to create a “vibrant” atmosphere that increases the happiness of employees, focusing on the four elements of “significance of existence,” “individuality,” “relationship,” and “mental and physical health.”
Four elements to maximize the happiness of employees
-
Significance of existence
We aim for a situation where the management principle of Mitutoyo, which is “To contribute to the wellbeing of society through precision measurement technologies,” and the “Six guidelines in Mitutoyo’s management principles” match the significance of existence of each individual.
-
Individuality
We enable a person to make use of their strengths and feel that they are living their own way. We aim for a situation where each person can maximize their strengths without being bound by age, gender, or nationality.
-
Relationship
We aim for a situation where employees at Mitutoyo can communicate well with each other from all aspects, and connect with each other in terms of their significance of existence, such as “providing a new value,” “coexistence with partners,” and “harmony with the environment.”
-
Mental and physical health
We promote “health management” while maintaining a high level of interest in the health of employees and their families, and aiming to ensure that each employee is healthy, mentally and physically.
